Developed by OpenAI, it is an advanced AI-powered suite of tools that can help you synthesize information, summarize complex topics, conduct research, and generate new content, including text, code, and images. Use it to enhance your writing, coding, brainstorming, studying, problem-solving, and more.
Features
If you have a personal ChatGPT account, the campus ChatGPT workspace offers a different set of features. All features and integrations in our Workspace go through a review and approval process before they are introduced.
Currently Available
- Chat: Ask questions, brainstorm ideas, draft and revise content, summarize materials, and work through problems in a conversational format.
- Web Search and Deep Research: Find information, explore topics, and develop reports that include sourced references.
- Projects: Organize related conversations, files, and instructions. Collaborate by sharing projects and discussions with other users in the campus workspace.
- Workspace Agents and Custom GPTs: Create and use specialized assistants with task-specific instructions and reference materials.
- Plugins and Skills: Use approved connections, tools, and reusable instructions to support specialized tasks and establish repeatable workflows.
- ChatGPT Work: Complete multi-step tasks and produce deliverables such as documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Codex: Understand, write, modify, and test code in local projects using the desktop application.
- Google Workspace Connections (read-only): Connect to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive to find and reference information you authorize ChatGPT to access.
- ChatGPT for , , and : Work with ChatGPT directly within these applications. Note that a separate installation and sign-in may be required.
- Voice: Engage in voice conversations with ChatGPT on supported clients. Visual sharing capabilities vary by application and device; certain macOS desktop versions allow window snapshots during voice interactions.
